Terms and Conditions

A 60% deposit is required upon acceptance of the quotation. The remaining balance is due upon collection and completion (C.O.D.).

All orders under the value of R1,000.00 must be paid in full upfront to secure the order.

Our quotation is based on the condition of the rattan as assessed at the time of quoting. If, upon arrival, the rattan is found to be in a worse condition than initially expected, any additional work or materials required will be quoted separately and must be approved before we proceed.

All quotations are based on the use of our standard 8mm flat rattan. Should the client request a different rattan type, size, or weave pattern, the price may change accordingly.

If a non-standard colour is requested, this may also affect the cost and lead time, as custom colours must be specially ordered from our supplier.

Custom-made pieces require a production time of 4–6 weeks from the date of deposit payment, depending on the complexity of the order and material availability.

All goods supplied remain the property of Rattan Furniture until payment is received in full.

Payment of the deposit will be regarded as acceptance of this quotation and the terms and conditions stated above.

We offer collection and delivery on request. We personally handle collection and delivery within the Western Cape. For areas outside the Western Cape, we work with couriers such as Easy Move.

As all work is bespoke and completed to order, we're unable to accept returns based on personal preference. A return or remedial work will only be considered where the issue is a result of our own work — for example, defective rattan or workmanship that doesn't meet our standard. This is separately covered by our warranty below.

We offer a 1-year warranty on workmanship and a 3-year warranty on the rattan material itself.

The deposit is non-refundable once paid, as it is used to begin work on your order (materials, scheduling, and labour). By paying the deposit, you accept these terms.
